For honey bees, the male is the drone, the queen and workers are all female.
Drones' eyes are almost twice the size of a worker bee's eyes and their body is stockier and heavier than a worker, but not as big as a queen.
Despite their heavier weight, drones can fly fast enough to catch up with a queen.
The female spider is much larger in most Spiders, such as the bird dropping spider, in which the female is 12mm and the male is 2.5mm. But if you are not sure then try this website http://www.findaspider.org.au/find/spiders/.
There are male ants and female ants. However, like with bees, most of the ants and termites you see are sterile females (called workers). The fertile female for the colony is called the queen, and she stays in the nest with the males (drones).
Male and female spiders are generally sexually dimorphic, which means they have differences in appearance based on gender. Females, typically are larger than males, but not in every instance. Female spiders have a spot on the ventral side of their abdomen called an epigynum, which is where the male spider deposits sperm with the use of his pedipalps. Sometimes, male spiders will have enlarged or modified pedipalps, where the females won't (for example, in wolf spiders). Somtimes, males are also more vibrant in appearance, and females are duller (for example, the peacock spider).
All the ants you see that have no wings are female ants, whether they are workers or soldiers. When you find winged ants, usually about half of them are females, depending on the species. For most species of winged ants you need to be an entomologist to tell the difference between males and females, but in some of them the males are much smaller than the females, though in some the males are larger. In most species the males are a little smaller.
The only way to tell is to stick your finger up the chicken and feel. But unfortunately that is the only way
well you see- ummm... well- men and wemon have different... parts. and- umm... when they love each other very mutch...
The females work, build nests, and find food. The males dont do that
The only bees that are male are the drones, they can be identified by their unusually large eyes.
female ant is bigger than male ant in same species
Female spiders have food on their minds almost all the time. They having mating as an objective part of the time. When they have mating on their minds that does not stop them from wanting to eat. Male spiders have several ways of identifying themselves as being of the same species as the female, so that she will let them approach to mate with her. Then most of them have their own ways of keeping the female from eating them as or after they mate. Some male spiders sacrifice themselves. Some female spiders sacrifice themselves to their babies after the babies hatch.Eating the male spider after mating gives the male spider's genes a better chance of survival. So, evolutionarily speaking, it is an advantage to the male to have his progeny get a good start in life. The same is true of the female. Spiders species often live for only once season anyway, so it may be unlikely that either males or females of some species will get a second chance at reproducing. So female spiders eat male spiders because they are hungry, but also perhaps because evolution has not found it expedient in some cases to give the males a good way out. In other cases, however, the males almost always are not eaten. Some female spiders even tolerate males to continue living with them.
The difference is that the females are normally bigger and stronger than the males.

Different species vary - some spiders don't spin webs.. but it is not true that only female spiders spin webs - both male and female do - otherwise how would the male spiders catch their food?
The males usually have a darker color on their back and smaller fins than the female.
Males have red stomachs
The males are smaller than the female
