i think you get a sort of vibe, i think some hide it more than others but usually they talk down to you and tend to bring up race in conversation alot...

from personal exsperiences i think that you will just know when some one is racest towards you from the vibe but finding proof to come with it is hard, which where i think you get your doubt from...

An incident that targets someone based on their race is a racist incident. Most racist incidents also include the spoken word, but people also have become shrewd at trying to cover up racism, so the actual words may be toned down. The person initiating the incident may even deny they are racist as they choose their words carefully.

For example, 3 Asians and 3 Blacks enter a store. "We don't serve those people," the clerk is overheard saying. Which people is the clerk referring to here? Many people might immediately conclude it is racism against Blacks, since it often is meant that way, but since here we don't know the race of the store clerk, we cannot conclude what race is being targeted. We only know the speech targets one race over another, in this example.

Ask about their opinions. If a person is truly racist then they won't try to hide it & will feel comfortable with it.
