Mean it whan you say it. Do not just say it as a passing joke or say it without meaning. Look him in the eyes when you say it. Do not do it in public the first time that you say it. Your love for him is private. A public "I love you" does not have the same effect. After, and if he acknowledges what you have said and he says it back, then it is ok to say in public. MAKE SURE THAT HE HAS FEELINGS FOR YOU. An I love you too early in a relationship can scare him. If you love each other, say it often. ∙ 13y agoThere are many ways to tell someone you love them. But one way that seems to be the best..is when your alone...spend some time with them...just the two of you. Then just look into their eyes. When you feel it's the write time...just say " I love you..." and keep the eyes contact...but not like staring. You should also smile alittle. If your an open book just tell them what you like about them and how you feel. That should do the trick. Good luck with that lucky girl...or guy. =]
