#3 is third cylinder from the pulley end of engine.
It could be a hairline crack in the head gasket between cylinder 2 & 3.
Could be a loose ground causing a "spike" in the electrical system
Many stores have 2 or 3 replacement sizes or battery numbers that will fit. Check the on line auto parts stores and the options will be there.
first you must remove the timing belt,once removed ,should be 3 hex bolts holding pump
