couple of ways either earth out the switch at latch end or remove bulb in dash
Your 2004 Chevrolet trail blazer and battery light indicator is always on because the battery has sufficient charge.
Your Chevrolet Cavalier 97 might stall when going downhill because it has a bad fuel filter. It could also be the spark plugs misfiring.
Yes! 1995-1999 yes it will fit but if you live in states that require inspections it will not pass because of the crank shaft sensor will not be picked up. been there done that!
A 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier is very difficult to open without keys. In most cases, a locksmith is required. Even possessing a slim Jim is problematic because of the position of the lock in the door.
This web site should be called "Questions.com" because there never seems to be any answers.
First, there is no Chevrolet Cavalier 2006, they stop selling it in 2005 because they replace it by the Chevrolet Cobalt. Anyway, just buy a Haynes "do-it-yourself" repair manual in any large store like Wal-Mart, it cost like 20$ and it's very easy to follow.
The ABS light is most likely on because of low voltage, same reason for the battery light to be on. Get your alternator tested.
Check to see if the battery is properly grounded, if it isn't the stater won't turn because the circuit is broken.
because your starting motor don´t work, maybe it is damage
Maybe, as long as both vehicles had the 2200 4-cylinder engine. The S10's motor might be slighty different tuning wise because it was used in a truck. Even if both motors are OHV 2200's they still might not work due to the fact a S10 is RWD/4WD and a Cavalier is FWD.
Mounted on the side of the engine, if you look all the way around the circumference of the joint between the engine and transmission you will find it because that's where the flywheel is located.
the engine that you have in your 01 cavalier WILL NOT work in a 95-00 cavalier. They changed the type of motor that they used in 01. They went from the 2200 I4, to the 2.2l Ecotec in 01. It has more h.p. stock and the spec are completely different then the 3rd gen motors. It will work but you have to change the top end of the motor in other words the block is interchangeable It will fit into the 1997 because cavaliers have sets of years that the cars have same parts like for a 1995 u can fit a 86 engine because Chevy didn't change their specs. I have a 01 trans in my 96. So as long as u get the right specs on your engine it should match ur trans and it will work.
