Resistor is behind glove box (Push inward on glove box hinges to release) Pull out both sets of wires from resistor plug-in. (push release clips on both sets to pull out wires) Remove 2 small screws holding the resistor. Remove the resistor ( test the wire that has the small diode ) with a multimeter to ensure it has power on both sides of the diode. If there is current on your multmeter the resistor is okay...... if no current is present on your multimeter the diode is burnt and the resistor unit needs replacement.

The resister is right behind the glove box.

It is over the passneger side strut tower, under the hood, in the firewall.

Usually if the resistor is bad the heater will only run on full blast.

If the inside fan won't shut off, the blower resistor has failed. It is located behind the glove box.

Probably the blower motor resistor is fried. New ones from Dodge dealer are usually about $20 for the part. A very cheap and easy DIY fix.

The blower motor resistor is mounted in the heater box directly behind the dash glove box. Remove the contents of the glove box and push in on both sides of the glove box stops. The glove box door will fold down exposing the resistor. Remove the two screws holding the resistor in the heater box to remove the resistor.
