If you have a manual transmission, put it in neutral, release the clutch, press the clutch, then shift the transfer case. By double clutching it allows the transfer case to sync up. Come to a complete stop and place the transmission in neutral. Then shift the transfer case.
Shift the transmission into N first, then pull the transfer case into LO-LOC or HI-LOC, for a automatic trans, or 4HI, or 4LO for a manual transmission. Put transmission back into drive and take off. If your truck has manual locking hubs, they will need to be turned to LOCK to engage the front axle.

Assuming you mean flat tow, it depends. If it's 2WD, you'd need to remove the driveshaft - manual transmissions weren't an option for this vehicle. If it's 4WD, that depends on your transfer case. IIRC, all the Escalade transfer cases were electronic shift... if it's a three button setup (2 HI, 4 HI, 4 LO), then no... if it's a four button setup (2 HI, 4 HI, 4 LO, NEUTRAL), then yes - you simply put the transfer case into the neutral position.
If it has a 2wd selection on the transfer case shifter, then yes. If it only has 4 hi and 4 lo, then no.
If you have a 2 stage furnace (hi fire & lo fire) then the blower will run on lo speed in lo fire & hi speed in hi fire and in AC mode. If it`s a single stage furnace lo speed for heat and hi speed for cooling.
