This is super simple!
*Make sure you have installed The Sims 3 world adventures. (properly)
*Run your game and load your family (if you haven't already)
*Ensure you have a few thousand dollars
Step 1: Choose the sim that you wish to travel with.
Step 2: Under that sims profile select a phone. (Your cell phone can be found in your inventory.) The interaction will all pop up around the phone. One option will sasy 'travel'. Select this one.
Step 3: A screen menu will then appear. Select the information such as who you want to travel with, Where you want to travel (China, Eygpt or France) and how long you want to stay. (You can't stay longer than 3 days without a higher visa. Vis points are obtained by completeing adventures whilst in that country. To find adventures click on the sparkling sign board out the front of Base Camp.)
Step 4: TRAVEL! Your sim(s) will get the equired days of work/school to go on vacation, but beware, your sim will NOT get paid for these days.
Enjoy travelling and have fun exploring at each place.

Well, kind of. You can go around town but, to actually travel to other places then you need the World Adventures expansion pack. But also your sims/sim can move to another town if you want to travel. Just go onto the computer and find the move option :D-Hope this helped
