if the knee is still dislocated, straighten the leg out as slow as you can, usually this will relocate the knee cap, if it doesn't remain calm, call an ambulance, do not move this will result in grinding and damage to the bone, if the knee is already relocated then wrap your knee in an ace bandage the support the knee cap and prevent it from dislocation again, for dislocated knees the healing process is RICE rest ice compression elevation

If you have dislocated knee, with your hands take the cap and push it on the right side. Example my left knee dislocates on left side, so I grab the knee with my hands and push it in the place. You will have edema on your knee and probably you won't be able to walk for a several days. Treat the edema with ice and it will go away. Make some exercises and soon you will be able to walk normally.

Go have it X-rayed. They will take it from there. I have a friend who's pops in and out once in a while. You may need a knee replacement or repair. But it needs to be examined by a Dr.

You would have to hit its really hard, it's more more likely break rather than dislocate. It's not advised that you try to dislocate it, as it could take surgery to put it back in.
