First turn the key to the run position, but do not start. Push the gas pedal down to the floor 3 times within five seconds. Turn the key off and then cycle back on and start the truck. The indicator should flash five times and go out. This may take a few tries, they can be stubborn
on a 2001 silverado you clear the message center by turn the ignition to the on position and pressing the gas pedel all the way to the floor 5 times in 5 seconds

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by a steering wheel position sensor. There's no such thing. There is a sensor for the pressure to bump up the idle if the vehicle is sitting still and you turn the wheel. There's also the turn signal cam and canceling switch.
EVO sensor. Also known as steering speed sensor.
Check the 2001 Grand Ams crank shaft position sensor first. If the sensor is bad then the engine will not get fire or start.

Change the ignition. Take a pare of pliers, turn it back, then change the ignition.

Test or replace the sensor in the radiator side tank.
probably a bad camshaft sensor.
on your 2001 Tahoe the change oil light is tripped by a sensor in the main frame computer. my suggestion is to take it to your nearest dealership and have then reset it . this should solve your problem Turn ignition on but don't start, press gas pedal to floor three times. This should do it.
The low coolant sensor is located in the side tank of the radiator.jd
Warning lights come on when there is an issue. A Oil change light with turn off when an oil change has taken place.

i believe that in programing through your dash-with the options button there is the ability to turn off and go manual.

Anything is possible if you have the money, but it would be by far cheaper to just purchase a used 01 Silverado with 4 wheel drive and sell yours.
SEE IF IT STARTS WITH A JUMP START ..IF SO THE BATTERY COULD BE WORN OUT OR JUST A DIRTY CONNECTION FROM THE BATTERY TO THE STARTER
