I had the same problem on my dodge truck. Usually after about 500-1000 miles the light went away. I have a 2005 Corolla with the same problem. I've changed the oil many times and driven thousands of miles but it doesn't go off. I even disconnected the battery cable to see if that would reset it but it didn't. I'd love to know the answer, too. to do it the RIGHT way. with the car key on ACC, set your odometer on mileage(not trip a or b) then turn ket off. then hold they button that switchs from odo and trip, then turn the key back to acc. while you are holding it down you will notice the maintenance light blink and go out. and then you are done. now that wasn't hard now was it?

Resetting the oil light on a Toyota Corolla Verso is very easy to do. You just need to take the battery cables off the battery for a few minutes and then put them back on. This will reset the oil change light.

Depends on which light you are referring to. The "Check Engine" light comes on when there is a problem with the emissions system. The "Maintenance Required Light" comes on when scheduled maintenance is required as outlined in your owners manual.

According to the owners manual for my 2004 Sienna, all it means is that an oil change is due. You can google how to reset the light, in case the guys in the shop forget to.

How do you reset maintenance reminder light on 2008 Toyota corolla? For what it is worth: To reset the Maintenance Required light on my 2007 Toyota Corolla: 1) Set your trip meter to the odometer setting (in other words, not Trip A or Trip B) 2) Hold down trip meter reset button and turn ignition to off. 3) While holding down the trip meter reset button now turn the ignition to on. 4) Keep holding down button until Maintenance Required light shuts off. Note: One some other Toyota models you hold down the Trip A meter rather than the odometer. Hope this works for you.

If the VSC flashing light comes on at the same time on your Toyota Corolla, then there might be a sensor issue, and if you have a warranty, have it back to the manufacturer.
