find out what is causing it to come on (by going to a shop) and correcting it.
Replace the burnt out light bulb
A blown fuse.
either a bad sensor somewhere, or a connection is disconnected
autozone.com has online manuals you can access for free
There are pages and pages of things that can turn the check engine light on. You need to have it checked for codes to know what the cause might be.
it means that you have a bulb out somewhere on your truck.... IE backup light, brake light, turn signal, running light.. etc etc..
Turn the key on, with the engine off, and press the gas pedal 3 times.
Bulb is out.
From behind the light bezel (under the truck) quarter turn and remove the lamp holder. Replace with an "893" type bulb
I own a 1989 dodge Dakota and it has torsion bars that can be raised and lowered. Just follow the torsion bars from the front to the back and look at where they stop there should be a 7/8 bolt that you can turn clockwise to raise the truck and counter clockwise to lower it
You have to replace the tail light as a whole unit. Open the tail gate. You will see two screws (star shape if I remember right) take these out. Then Pull the lens assembly out. Undo the bulb connectors byturning them quarter turn and pulling them out. There it is. Easy. Good luck.
on all dodge trucks the way you change the bulbs is simply unscerew the tail light assembly and remove it from the rear of the vehicle and you will see your lightbulb fittings right on the back of the light assembly
