How do you switch off iphone 4?

if you or that person has a passcode lock on their iPhone then just guess the Passcode as many times as you can and as fast as you can and keep typing in numbers , this will disable the phone for as long as it says on the screen . I actually wiped out all this persons info on theirs when i did it !! hehe . . .

You can extend the default time i.e one minute up to five minutes or permanentaly turn that off. Simply go to settings and tap on it, then tap on general and you will see different options. Now tap on auto lock from these settings.
