check your headlight switch or dash dimmer switch to be sure you do not have them turned on.
head lights, dome lights, blinkers, any light.... ABSOLUTELY NOT!!
Yes
its the size my helens lava dome
Dome, Modified Dome, Cabin, and A-Frame.
Half Dome is composed of the intrusive igneous rock granite.
there are 2 relays in a black box underneath the dash on the right hand side pop the cover off it will reveal your 2 relays. one for dome lights other for running and dash lights
A likely cause is a faulty interior light dimming switch. This switch is directly connected to both the dash lights (for dimming), and the dome light (on/off).
check the dome light fuse that could be the problem.......or interior fuse Instrument lights.
No the dash lights should be with your parking lights.comment2: They are on separate circuits. Power usually goes from the "taillight fuse" to a small 5 amp dash light fuse and then to the dash dimmer wheel or knob. Then it feeds the dash lights. A blown tail light fuse makes the dash lights go out also. A blown dash fuse only affects the dash lights.
WIRINGS!!
Driver side under dash near hood release there is a fuse block.
It's on the left side of the dash. the switch that controls the brightness of the lights in the dash board. slide it all the way up and it'll click the dome light on. Click it down it turns the dome light goes off.
check the fuse box for a blown fuse.
bad combination light switch
your dash light are not on because your head light are not on. There is a tiny red dome on your dash that sees the daylight. If you want your dadh lights on during the day,you could cover the dome with a piece og black electrical tape. Of course ,your headlights will be on as well. Rod
I've had some cars in the past with similar issues... The dimming dash lights upon braking turned out to be a weak battery. As the brake lights went on, it took power away from the dash lights. On another car, my dash lights would sometimes flicker. I found that the dimmer control was loose. Sometimes fiddling with that switch will help.
dome lights stays on
