Windows - Go to the bottom right-hand corner. You will find an icon that looks like a speaker. Click that and change to your desired volume.
Chromebooks - If you look at your keyboard, near the top right, there will be 3 buttons that will modify the volume

∙ 13y agogo to the fan and blow then turn up the volume if that doesnt work take of the button to the volume and there will be a thing there take it to the store you got the laptop from they will take about 3 days to fix it

∙ 12y agoIf you're on Windows 7 or Vista.. Click Start>> Control Panel>> Hardware and Sound>> Power Options>> You will see on the left part a sentence saying (Choose when to turn off the display) Click it then Adjust the Brighness plan you prefer.. And Voiala :) Have a nice day

∙ 11y agoAs you did not list the model I can only give you a general answer. On most Acer laptops the F8 key is the mute volume control. Press that first as the volume may just be muted. The volume is controlled by the up and down arrows on the bottom right of the keyboard.
