The web page doesn't say when your question was posted, so I hope you've either figured it out already, or it hasn't been too long without being able to put your top down. The latches have two flat metal levers laying against the top, just above the windshield -- just pull them out so they point toward the rear of the vehicle and the hooks will be released from the windshield, and the top can be lowered. More difficult can be getting it latched again when putting the top back up -- on mine, anyway, especially if I've left the top down for a long time, I have to wrestle it a bit to get the alignment pins close enough to the holes so the latch can lock it in (the plastic liners of the holes are getting pretty mangled, but it still works fine). Unlatch the latches at the top of the window, then press the convertible top button down. this button is located near the armrest. If this does not work you must aquire a new convertible top motor. from the trunk, remove hyd. fluid from the conv. top pump, operate top by hand. worked for me for years
Unlatch both sides by pulling handles up by the visors, then push button on console, do not do while moving, to put up push button on console other direction, make sure latches are open bring top all the way up, pull down on top with handle in the middle above rear view mirror, latch latches.
There are two latches in your trunk. They are on the roof of the trunk, one for each seat. Just pull them back and it will unlatch the seats.

When a clock signal is applied to a flip flop the output will change state from a binary 1 to a binary zero or visa vera on each clock pulse. A latch when triggered by a clock signal will maintain its state until it receives a reset to unlatch it. A:a latches not a flip flop but a switch set or reset waiting for a signal to close as a switch.
The lever that lates/unlatches the top also controls the electric convertible up/down. If you want the top down, unlatch and pull the handle towards the back (in essence the same direction you want the top to go). Vice Versa to put the top back up.
Open the trunk Reach up and unlatch the two back seats with their latches in the trunk Pull the seat down, the is a latch on either the left or right side of the seat, stick a screwdriver down in there and spread it apart Lift the seat up
Yes they do. In fact the rear bench seat comes out as well. Underneath each middle seat is a T-handle that you must lift vertically to unlock and then push to the rear of the van to unlatch. Then simply tilt the seat back and lift up to remove. The rear bench seat has 2 latches, one on either side at the rear close to the bottom. Lift the latches vertically then tilt the bench seat forward and lift up to remove.
on the drivers side towards the front of the engine compartment you will see a square box with hoses coming off it and on the side of that box should be 3 latches . unlatch them and lift up the lid and pull or push the lid to your right or towards the drivers tire and it should come off then you'll see the filter
the cable is either stretched or broke
It is built into that center lever that you unlatch the roof. (above the windshield rear veiw mirror) If you need two roof motors for a 99 cavalier z24, drop me a note...I have 2 for sale that I don't need. I will let them go cheap...because I don't need them.
Pretty straightforward, actually. # STOP THE CAR, make sure you have clearance (not in a garage, for instance). # Lower both visors. # Unlatch both top latches that were hidden under the visors, the top may spring open a bit, which is fine. # Use the control button (located at the front of the armrest center console, under your wrist if you lay your arm down in a driving position) to open the top. The windows may roll down slightly before the top begins to retract. Let the top retract fully. (you may also at this point put the retract-cover on if need be - check your trunk for it) # Enjoy. # To put it back up, do the reverse - button to get the top up, latch both top latches, roll up windows, move both visors up. make sure your parking brake is always on going up or down also.
there are 2 speed sensors on this vehicle... both are on the tranny driver side... front one is output back one is input... you need to unlatch the plugins and a 1" deep socket and ratchet... make sure car is cooled down... about 5 mins on each...
put some dish soap on and around the tick and it will probably unlatch
Pull the hood release handle inside the vehicle.
When she is sleeping quietly remove her shirt unlatch the bra then suck the breast a lot for milk to come out.
you might have to crall through the opening in the back seat
Can't you just use the door key?
Well it matters little whether it is the 48" or 54" deck. Set the height stop knob in front of the seat(black knob) to the blank spot pointing upward. Lock the deck in the down position. Swing the arm on the left of the deck around to the rear wheel at remove the primary belt. Unlatch the front stay by pulling out on the latch part on the left side. Pull the rear two U-shaped rear latches out and rotate them so that they remain unlatched. Raise the lift arms by using the lift lever(you need to unlatch it) taking care as there is no longer anything attached and it can rise forcefully. Turn the steering wheel as if making a hard rigbt turn and slide the deck out to the left.
Push down on it, get someone to work the button, then lift. Keep trying that.Did you try your KEY?
Opening a sun roof on a jeep is easy. All you have to do is unlatch the roof from the jeep and push the open button.
Empty out your glovebox, Everything will fall out anyway. Open glovebox the squeeze the sides together unntil the latches allow it it drop all the way down. You will see a black plastic box about 8" or so long and 2 or 3" in height. That is the case for the filter. You may need a flat screwdriver to unlatch the cover of the case from the clips on the sides..ends, the filter element will slide right out and replace filter and re assemble the same way opposite
Unfasten the sun visors and pull them to the side. Turn and unlatch the handles behind the visors. Now pull the back of the top forward. When you raise the top up from the back you will feel for a button right under the lip of the back of the car behind the drivers seat. Push it and raise the back of the car up. Fold the top down into that area. Close the back again - it should snap shut.
Take it to the body shop. They have to open the hoods when they are wrecked.
