The two characters are Blooper and Hammer Bro.
1. First, complete the star carnival as any character. In the final showdown, you'll face either Blooper or Hammer Bro. Once defeated, that character is unlocked.
2. Complete the star carnival again only this time as the character you unlocked (Blooper or Hammer Bro.)

∙ 13y agoPlay the Star battle and win until you get to bowsers board map blooper will be your oppenent beat him and then defeat bowser after the credits are done blooper will be added to your character list. Beat Star battle with Blooper to get Hammer bro.
