How do you use 12vDC battery to get 220vAC?
You need a power inverter or a mechanical motor-generator.
Almost all cars in NZ have 12VDC electrics. Most portable generators which produce 230VAC, will also have a 12VDC accessory output for battery charging, etc. There are no general reticulations of 12VDC.
No you can not use this power supply 12 V DC 500 ma instead 12VDC 1amp because this battery will not able to deliver sufficient power to that device which you want to power it from this battery and your device will not work fine or it will work with very poor performance.
220VAC at 50Hz
no you can get different amp chargers but they will charge any battery the higher the amps the faster the charge but it is better to charge a battery slowly so you shouldn't charge on very high settings any 12vdc car battery charger will charge a 12vdc car battery
You'll probably have to have a step-down transformer to take the 220vac down to 110vac. Then you'll have to have an Ac to Dc converter box to change the Ac to Dc volts. The converter will probably have an adjustable output so that you can dial in 12vdc.
In the US a service drop transformer (on the pole or underground) converts the distribution voltage to 220VAC center tapped, which provides two opposite phased 110VAC outlet and lighting use and/or one 220VAC single phased high power for heating and cooking use. Occasionally 230VAC center tapped or 240VAC center tapped is provided instead of 220VAC.
Your question is confusing. First off a battery charger puts out DC voltage not AC. If you are asking if you can run a 120 volt battery charger on a 220 volt circuit the answer is no you cannot. That would destroy the charger.
Don't mix the two words together as there are inverters that change normally 12vDC to 117vAC. compressors are usually machines that produce air under pressure and use electric motors that can be single phase or triple phase. Normally three phase electric is not found in the home, but the electric in your circut breaker box is 220vAC single phase.
"12vdc" stands for "12 volts direct current."
I want to have a small preamp device to be mobile based on battery power and so Are there battery packs that can be used in place of 12VDC power supplies?
Many batteries are 12 volt (all batteries are DC) The size you need depends on how much power and duration is needed You can even use a car battery, but be careful handling it so you don't create a mess
ITS NOT PRACTICAL BUT FOR THE SAKE OF SOLUTION HERE'S HOW: 1. KNOW WHAT IS THE VOLTAGE RATING OF CAR HEAD LAMP = 12 OR 24 VOLTS DC? 2. KNOW THE WATTAGE RATING OF CAR HEAD LAMP = SAY 100 WATTS 3. KNOW WHAT IS YOUR RESIDENTIAL SYSTEM VOLTAGE = 110VAC OR 220VAC? 4. PURCHASE AN AC TO DC CONVERTER - SELECTABLE 110VAC OR 220VAC INPUT VOLTAGE AND SELECTABLE 12VDC AND 24VDC OUTPUT VOLTAGE WITH… Read More
The current rating on a charger ("1000 mA", "500 mA"), usually means the current that the charger is capable of supplying if it needs to. It's NOT the current that's always being pumped out. If your 7AH battery needs 500 mA at some time during the charging operation, then a 1000mA charger is capable of supplying it.
By connecting two 6 volt auto batteries in series. Or by connecting eight 1.5 volt batteries in series.
Assuming your battery supplies a constant and exact voltage of 12VDC, then your 15 watt load will draw 15 W / 12 V = 1.25 A. Your battery can provide 20Ah, so you'll drain it in 20Ah/1.25A = 16h. Note these are only theoretical values; a real battery doesn't behave like that. The voltage is likely to be higher than 12VDC on a fully charged battery (more like 13..14VDC in a typical car battery, for… Read More

Yes, just use L1 and L2 ( just 2 of the 3 legs), or one of the legs to a neutral wire if equipped. Just make sure the voltage is the same as the 220 volts you wish to have with single phase service.
No. If you need 15vdc, the 12vdc supply will not provide it, even if it is underloaded.
add a battery for breadboards less than 12vdc, transformer from wall for 12+ vdc or vac wall socket for home wiring, transmission,or shocking a guy.
It is important for solar battery charger output voltage to match voltage of battery system being charged. Voltage is additive in series circuits, therefore 3 12VDC solar battery chargers connected in series would provide correct output to charge a 36VDC system.
How can you change your thermostat if the temperature is changed through a security system and it needs an input of 12vdc-10 and your security system only puts out 5vdc?
Guess you'll need a relay. Hook it too the battery for 12V.
What is the maxium battery voltage allowed on 2001 buick lesabre sine I have components overheating and am wondering if the voltage regulator is allowing too much voltage?
In almost all cases for American 12VDC automotive systems, the allowable range of voltage across the battery is 13.5V to 14.5V, with a typical value of 13.8V to 14.0V. The voltage will vary depending on battery state and how cold it is outside.
No the power supply must be capable of supplying the full load current.
There are a couple of ways to charge a battery in a 2005 DeVille. You can use jumper cables with the use of another battery. You can also use a portable battery charger.
Most all are 12vdc
no. 500 mA=0.5 A, just find a cable modem power cord or a netgear power cord, it will transform to the range you need
Well, let's see. Can you use the battery to light a lightbulb ? Can you use the battery to run a motor ? Can you use the battery to play an iPod, a cellphone, or a portable DVD player ? Can you use a battery to turn over a gasoline engine and make it start ? Can you use a battery to run an electric car ? All of these need energy to work. I… Read More
If there is a hole through your battery, do not use it. no
No, you must use a battery with a connection for the vent tube to route battery fumes out of the car as the battery is stored in the trunk.
This would be fine. Using an adapter that has fewer milliamps available than required could cause problems.
You do not need to use battery. However, if you do use the battery, your charging habbits have a bearing on the battery life. For example, short recharge cycles may adversely impact the life. I think it is better for battery to drain fullly and recharge fully to use.
As long as both batteries are the same voltage, you can jump start with the battery. If you want to charge the battery then use a battery charger.
They use a 1/3N 3 volt battery. AimPoint models which do not use AA batteries also use the same battery.
One. 12VDC 54AH.
the battery is use for xbox control
Can you replace a transformer with an input rating of 120VAC 60Hz 12W and output rating of 12vdc 500mA with one that has an input rating of 120vac 60hz 25w and an output rating of 12VDC 1A?
Yes, you can. Here's why. If a supply's output is rated at 12 volts DC (12 VDC) and 500 milliamperes (500mA), it can deliver a maximum of 500mA at the 12 volt rating. You want to use a 12VDC supply that is rated at 1A (1000mA). That means that the supply is capable of delivering up to 1A at 12VDC. Now the crux of the matter. Your device, that's the load on the supply, needs… Read More
Switch the ignition to on. Put your meter to 12VDc. Touch the hot wire going to the solenoid with the meter positive probe . Touch the meter negative probe to ground. If you have 12VDc and you don't hear a click when you turn on the switch, the solenoid is probably bad. If you don't have 12VDc, check fuses and the wire going to the solenoid.
You can use a rechargeable battery over and over again.
Yes we can use without battery. but it is not good for laptop.
You can use, for example, a Yuasa YTZ14S motorcycle battery.
2004 xtype takes a 2035 battery,can i use the 2032 battery?
they can be recharged by hooking jumper cables from a car to the mower or if the battery is fried you would have to buy a new battery for it Use a battery charger just like the one you use on an auto battery.
Use a battery maintainer.
It depends on how you use and maintain it.
12 volt battery
you can use a test software or look at the back of the battery, the battery information is on the back of the battery
I believe the 'D' cell is still the most popular flashlight battery. AA and AAA are gaining popularity in cheaper flashlights, but do not have the longevity of larger cells.
can i use a blackberry 8320 battery in a blackberry 8800
It is not hard. 220VAC is standard and common for house hold and residential applications in India.
