Easy just open the bag and go to the key items pocket choose the itemfinder and it will be used however normally it will say "Nope there is no response" this means no secret items are around. By the way try using the itemfinder where snorlax used to be you will find the item leftovers and try that where Giovanni used to be in the gym and you will get a macho brace and try that where mr fuji used to be in Pokemon tower and you will get a soothe bell.

∙ 14y agowhat you have to do is go to the poke'etch app...then just tap around the screen and a circle will appear, if there is an item then there will be a little black dot..if not nothing will happen

∙ 12y agoGo to the itemfinder in your PACK then press A on USE the item will try to find items buried underground if you hear beeping noises that means there is an item nearby if not text will appear and say there was no response. Once the beeping noises occur more frequently that means your getting closer to the item use A to find the secret item once you confirmed it's location.
