Actually, the decoder is mostly useless. You don't need it, really. The passcode words are: LASER HAIR REMOVAL (what B.A.D. is doing).To decode a mesage, line up the red letter on the outside wheel (the code letter) with the green letter on the inside wheel (actual message letter). Do not move the wheels once you do this: read the message by comparing the red code letters to the letters next to them.
Example:
K (red) = O (green)
When the letters are matched up, the code KLLKOEPA can be read as "OPPOSITE."

Match the red letter of the code key to the green letter of the code key. If there is a red Y and a green O as "Y=O", it means you move the circle until the green "O" is under the red "Y." Then the rest of the letters will match up.
Using the Decoder
- Under the message will be the code key, something like Y=O (Y in red and O in green).
- Line up the red Y with the green O on the circles.
- For each letter in the message, find that letter in red.
- Look at the green letter next to the red one, and write it down ("notes")
- The "notes" letters spell out the translated message
