If its obvious she's trying to get him then I would play it subtle. Smile at his jokes, call him on the phone, just play it real cute. If he doesnt respond to that then maybe he isn't the right guy...

Ok I'll start by letting you know I am a guy and i made this mistake. I liked a girl and i flirted with her all the time, and I got a little confused. I asked out her friend even though I really liked her and I really didn't know her friend that well at all. It lasted for about 3 weeks (maybe less), and there was no real feelings between us. And now I know it was a mistake. My advice is just wait for about a month (maybe less) and see if that guy still is going out with your friend. It all should be fine and you already know he likes you, so go for it! =)
