AnswerYou need to be at master rank of the contest type u wish to enter (ie. cute, ect.).

Very simple

You need to be at a master rank of the contest type you wish to enter, like the guy before me. To do that, you need to beat the Normal rank contest in Verdanturf town and then the Super rank contest in Fallarbor. Then go back to Slateport city for the Hyper rank contest, and with all the Normal, Super and Hyper ribbons in hand (for one Pokemon) you can enter a master rank contest in Lilycove.

You need to win two ranks to enter for the hyper rank. (Slateport) You go to Verdanturf, beat the Normal rank, then go to Fallarbor, beat the Super rank, and then you can face the Hyper rank in Slateport.

Pokemon Super Contest are separated into three competitions(visual,dance and acting).As you complete ranks(Normal,Great,Ultra and Master) in each contest (Beauty,Cool,Tough,Cute and Smart)you receive a prize (each one is different!).Both Diamond and Pearl Super Contest are the same.

In order to go on real super contest you will need a dress(Girl)/suit(male).When you first.arrived at Hearthome City ,the place the contest starts,you meet Kiera ,the only female judge (right).She gives you the clothes and your done with the clothes!

In a contest,4 people (including you) compete with your chosen Pokemon .No pokemons are banned.

The left counter is for multi battle rooms (versing your friends),the middle one is for versing com. controlled players and the right is for practice.You can visit the stage through the door between the middle and right counter.

Dress your pokemons nicely!In each theme each accessory has a rating.Depending on which rank the amount of accessories on your Pokemon are limited.Sometimes a accessory is not shown on stage when you put it on to the Pokemon.Chose a backdrop!If your Pokemon won a photo is hung.

Follow the main dancer's move!Perform moves that are hard to follow!Limited moves are allowed in each rank.You can use the right set of buttons or the touch screen to make your Pokemon do dance moves.

Each move is rated the amount of hearts and additional affect.Use them wisely!For example,the move Onimous Wind had 0 hearts but in the next turn it will double the hearts you got!Pretty nice if your going to perform a move with the +2 if performed first or If judge's voltage rises plus +3 additional effect.You earn extra hearts at the end of turn if all the pokemons did not perform to the same judge.

Feed your Pokemon poffins!GIVE them high level poffins.Pokemons eat a certain amount of poffins.Make sure it is a poffin that is a right for the contest.(Dry if its for Beauty or just match the colour!).Mild and Rich poffins increase every contest stat.

Give them a scarf(not silk scarf!)to increase the rating!To get a scarf go into the house near the exit to lake Valor front.Get your a Pokemon's contest stat to max.(200 pt.)by feeding poffins and show it to the guy.
