The first race, or the second one? the first race needs mastery of the track, jump over corners, stay on the boost pads, etc. the second race, requires pulling off tricks and a lot of them to maintain your boost bar, while simeultaneously doing what you did during the previous race to win.

heh long qustion my freind!! First there is a way you can get threw the flowing water. you can use my heli-pack way. press L1 and X at the same time doing a long-jump. keep doing this and carefull not to glide it slows you down. you can go that with-out the o2 mask. the o2 mask is found on pokitaru resort after you play clank on planet orxon you get the info-bot for pokitaru. i beat drek on veldin (last level/planet) with the tesla claw! --------------------------------------- yeah all u really need is the heli-pack and the o2 mask and ur up and away! Maximum ride girl
