How do you write a narrative poem?

Narrative poetry tells a story. It may be short or long, but it is basically a vivid image of the author's mood, thoughts, and feelings. Narrative poetry is probably the oldest kind of poetry, since most of the earliest literature that we can find is narrative poetry. In fact, some scholars think that the very things that separate poetry from prose were invented to help storytellers remember long tales. People still write narrative poetry, too. The poet E.E. Cummings tells a story in the Example Link about two people... Noone and Anyone, who are in love, but who aren't (as is obvious by their names I suppose) well-loved in society. In telling the story of the two people, Cummings also comments on hypocrisy and self-deception in society. But can you give me better definition because i dont get it i am writing about losing love and its about my ex-girlfriend? Whether it be love, school, bugs, i don't care you have to have a subject. Next you think of a story. For instance, if you wanted to write about "Love" you could come up with something like ' the boy met a girl someplace and they fell in love after a while.' idk. after you come up with the story you need to think of a hook. and it should have a lot of vocabulic words. make it interesting. =] i was probably not much help. but i hope i was.
