Sikhism was influenced by Islamic beliefs. The Druze and Bahai faiths are also substantially affected by Islam.
Answer 3Islam in its universal sense means full submission to God; the Creator; and it means peace (within one's self and within all humanity). Accordingly, Islam is God religion since creation of the inverse and even before. Islam per Torah revelation to Moses is called Judaism and Islam per Bible revelation to Jesus is called Christianity. Islam per God Qur'an revelation to prophet Muhammad is called the same name Islam as it is last God religion to people and Qur'an is last God holy book. So, Islam per Qur'an revelation to prophet Muhammad didn't descend from Judaism or Christianity but descended from Allah (ot God in English and same God worshiped in Judaism and Christianity). There are many things in common with other religions. The most important issue is the morals and human conduct. All religions call for good morals (be trustful, don't lie, don't commit adultery, respect your neighbor, keep your promise, don't cheat, don't kill, don't commit robbery, ... etc).
In addition, Islam has in common with other God religions (Judaism and Christianity) the same ritual worships although practiced differently (for example: praying, fasting, alms giving, and pilgrimage).
Prophet Mohammad was the last Prophet to come after Jesus. The Holy Koran was revealed to him and Muslims follow this and the teachings of the Prophet Mohammad. Islam is the only religion acceptable to God (Allah) as mentioned in the Holy Koran.
It is now the most popular and fastest growing religion in the West. Read the Holy Koran / and or its translations with an open mind and you may be enlightened.
Sure; most religions believe in God, and being loving and kind to your fellow beings. Most religions do charitable works, and meet regularly to be a community together. Most religions have to raise money as well...
Answer 1
Islam is in no way, no way, different than other religions. What is different are simply:
Now I take my coffee with 4 sugars, you might take none, or 2 or 500. to some people you and I are different. While coffee is still coffee and we still drink and not eat it, I guess its just our perceptions of what is sweet enough that differs.
Answer 2
The difference is that Islam - the original message of ALL the Prophets - is the truth. All other religions may have begun as the truth but were corrupted. The original truth is that only God is god. No one else is to be worshipped. All other religions worship someone other than God - either instead of God, or as a "partner" to God.
Want proof?
Judaism teaches that the Jewish people are a special people - as if anything they do is ok. That is self-worship
Christianity (Paul's religion that he used Jesus to make) teaches that all you have to do is believe in this one man as a god and you will be ok. And anyone who does not see him as the be-all and end-all of everything is out of luck. So, in other words, Jesus becomes MORE important than God. It does not matter that you believe in the God of Abraham - Jesus is more important. Just like the concept of the "chosen people", making Jesus into a god is an easy way out of having to obey God. That is not what Jesus himself taught. It was Paul's perversion.
Every religion has someone other than God that they worship - as a way of feeling safe, feeling ok. Not Islam. Not the final message of God to Mankind.
In Islam only God is God. The truth is that every person will have to stand before God to account for his or her beliefs and deeds. Everyone. No one is "saved" because of something or someone else.
So you have to:
1) Believe in the Absolute Oneness of God. God does NOT ACCEPT that anyone other than He is worshipped. No one else is 'special', and no one else is 'deity' but God ALONE.
2) Do your best to OBEY God's Law.
You don't have to be perfect. No one is perfect. But you have to be SINCERE and you have to believe that there is NO ONE who is God - but only God Himself.
Answer 3
Islam is no different than other religions, I'm a Muslim, being reading the holy book for decades, i have never seen any difference.
People who want to call the difference have limited cognitive ability, we obviously cannot blame Islam for that , that's just the education system.
what happened is that the interpretations became different primarily due to one dominating culture's influence on others.
my own fellow Muslims deny this fact, its just so simple, so fundamental .
islam is not only a religion it's a way of life.
Islam is a religion of its own, not a copy of another. Althought some of its beliefs is the same as other religions (e.g. one god, existence of Jesus)

Obviously there are differences between religions. On the other hand, there are great similarities between the World's great religions as well - for example, religions tend to emphasize the need to sanctify your character, not do harm to other people, pray to God.
Answer
No, not all of them. Islam is very similar in many ways to Judaism and Christianity, the more ancient religions on which Islam was arguably based. The Bahai religion, which in turn arose in the Muslim milieu, carries some similarities to Islam. A more distant relationship can be discerned between Zoroastrianism and Islam, as Zoroastrianism seems likely to have, in turn, influenced Judaism and Christianity, then Islam.
There is little relationship between Islam and Buddhism or Jainism, Daoism, Confucianism and so on.
Believing in same God and believing in same many prophets including Noah, Abraham, and Moses. Also, they share same good morals.
Islam is a great religion... its the final of all the religions.. Islam joins all other religions together... that's from my view...
Islam is the submission to God. and Islam believes all religions of God are the same but developed during history and all are from one God. islam considers all religions from God like judaism and Christinity the same and call all of them Islam and Islam calls any one who is submitted to God a Muslim even if he has another religion of God.
all religions
No. It is the text of Islam (Muslims). Other texts such as the Bible and Torah are used in other religions such as Christianity and Judaism.
Islam and Christianity
that is not true.
there is some power guiding all the souls on this universe, all other religions also encourages simple living and honesty......
Muslims believe in God's all prophets. Every prophet come with same message in principal. But in other religions some modifications made by followers after the prophet. But there is no such modification in Islam. Islam is the God's perfected religion.
If i understood this question correctly, muslims, jews, and christians can intermarry but cannot marry members of other religions probably because Islam, Christianity, and Judaism are all Abrahamic religions, which are all related to the biblical times and have many of the same stories, such as that of Abraham (known as Ibrahim in Islam). Along with this, all three of these religions acknowledge the existence of Jesus Christ.
Well it depends on who you ask. People of all religions have different interpretations on what they believe are true and correct.
Not sure exactly what your asking but Judaism, Islam, and Christianity are the first 3 monotheistic religions and all come from basically the same theories.
The Middle East is the birthplace of all three Abrahamic Religions, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. Along with other religions such as Bahá'í, Druze, Yazidi, and Zoroastrianism.
