Maslow's hierarchy of needs is of great importance in the HR/People Issues aspect of Project Management.
Statistically, money for employees is not the best motivator, instead, it's the interesting tasks that they work on, and of course respect. This concept is very important for Project Managers to understand for employee motivation.
