the water pump is turned by the timing belt and it is recommended that you change the belt at the same time as the water pump

trying to save some $ and can't locate the fuel filter or water pump on a 2003 Nissan altima. I have done the work on a Honda civic.
The water pump and cam are driven by the same belt. The oil pump has no relation to these.
Yes, it is the same starter for both.
yes they will
If the power door locks are not working on a 1999 Honda Civic, check the fuses. It is also possible that water got into the door lock mechanism and shorted out the system.
Check for water in the switch
Yes. Be sure though that the transmission isn't from a Honda Civic made in Japan if your Civic is made in the USA or Canada. This is a tip I got from a salvage business.
water pumps are very important part of your car it pumps coolant around your engine to keep it from literally melting if your water pump needs service it's already too late, to check a water pump you have to tea into allot of very expensive stuff now if it is due to be changed (which it will be) a new pump can run between $150 to $600 depending on the year of the civic mine's an 2002 and they are relatively cheap, but the work isn't. it's basically so hard to to check that once your in their, replace it anyway. as they have to remove it to check it. and it'll be a drop in the bucked for the part compared to the labor.
