How does a hot air balloon stay up?
it stays up because there is a fire inside of it and the gases from the fire focuses the hot air ballon to stay up
The principle of the Hot Air Balloon is based on the upward movement of hot air. As we know hot air rises up. The burner at the base of the balloon constantly provides hot air inside the balloon. This hot air mass, enclosed in the membrane of the balloon, pushes it up. With the burner constantly providing hot air, the balloon keeps on rising.
Not really, only small balloons will "pop". Hot air balloons that are large enough to carry people will lose air ( & lift) when the balloon is penetrated or torn. The balloon will lose its ability to stay up in the air. Answer It's highly unlikely that an arrow would reach a hot air balloon unless it were very close to the ground
