A simple, low growl will suffice in most cases. However, a blinding quick swipe with its massive paw usually suffices to cause the offender to reconsider its options.

If that doesn't do it, it's all tooth and nail to the finish.

it may also run if the enemy is really huge.

"Offence is the best form of defence!"

Tigers have the obvious possession of camouflage, which may avoid any conflict in the first place. However, if a confrontation does occur, the tiger possesses an exceptionally large saggitarial ridge, which allows for incredibly strong jaw muscles which may be used to fend off attackers. They also have strong legs, within which are sheathed deadly sharp claws, which while being dangerous in their own right, are likely to have some form of infectious disease on them.

Unfortunately, despite this great array of weaponry, the tiger has no form of defence against a bullet.

A tiger's stripes help to camouflage it against the grass. This often helps in catching its prey easily, and from being seen by any possible predators. A tiger does not have any predators as such, though if any danger arises, the tiger can protect itself with its teeth and claws.
