How does a trap primer work?
An automatic trap primer works by pumping water into a drain trap. The water is sent from a cold water line in small amounts each time the line runs water. There must be an air gap between the drain water and the fresh water line. The simpler manual trap primer is provided by your usage of the drain. For a seldom used drain pour water into it every few months. A little mineral oil in the drain will slow the evaporation by sealing the water from the room air.
Is a trap primer line where it is connected to the waste line part of the DWV system or could it be a by code domestic cold water line?
Trap primer is connected to domestic cold water line close to a fixture. Trap primer water line runs to a DWV trap made for trap primer usage.
You purchase a tap set for the laundry tub that has a built in trap priming nipple and then run 1/4" Polyethelyne tubing from that nipple to the trap in the floor drain. Floor drain collars with trap primer nipples are available. The tubing may be run under the poured concrete floor of the basement. Each time the water is used in the laundry tub, a trickle of water is also sent to the trap… Read More
You know a trap primer has failed or is not working properly if the drain dries out and begins to smell like sewer gas. Sometimes the primer can be adjusted with an Allen wrench to get the water dripping again. Turn the Allen nut counterclockwise until you can see water dripping through the airgap. In my opinion as a journeyman plumber, they are notorious for failing over short periods of time.
No. Primers are made to help keep your makeup on longer. They have no pigment, so they won't work as a foundation. - - - - - Yes, eye primer (goes under eyeshadow) works as face primer (goes under foundation). Or face primer works as eye primer.
Paint primer is essential for many projects. If primer is sprayed onto the surface before painting, it will allow the paint to better adhere and create an even surface.
No, not a good idea . If that was the case the people who made primer would do it.
No, it will not work for that.
I used primer meant for drywall on an iron bed will it work or what should I do. I have already put gloss on it. It looks okay will it hold up?
If the primer was a water based primer, then you are in trouble. If it was, then you need to strip it down to the metal and use either an oil based primer or I would use a primer made by Rustoleum.
No. It will alter the colour and properties of the paint - but you can buy premixed paint and primer at the store that is designed to work together.
Check the gasket between the air filter backing plate and the carburetor. Usually if that is sucking air then the primer won't work. Your best bet would be to just replace the gasket and possibly the primer bulb as well

When the striker on the gun strikes the primer, it explodes, causing the gunpowder in the casing to ingite. The explosion propels the bullet down the barrel.
Preferably an oil-based primer. If oils are not available in your area, then a 100% acrylic primer will also work.
Sounds like it's worth trying, -good idea .
No. Primers are made to help keep your makeup on longer. They have no pigment, so they won't work as a foundation. BTW, if you buy a face primer and an eye primer, you're wasting your money--face primer works well as eye primer. However! I'm still trying to figure out what priming your face does for you that applying moisturizer just before you start applying makeup, and wearing foundation on your eyelids, does not… Read More
Yes, that will work fine.
I would sand it down with sand paper then paint with primer. After that apply a outdoor paint. Prep work should be smooth If you really want it to be nice hit the primer with a light sandpaper after the primer coat.
Often, particleboard furniture is covered with a vinyl sheet that requires a primer prior to accepting paint. A good 100% acrylic primer or a quality stain-block primer (not Kilz) will work best. PPG paints makes a very good paint, called Break-Through that will work for a one coat solution, however, it is only available in gallons.
I always use my foundation as my eyeshadow primer! It worked amazing with me and it leaves me with less worry about the primer making my eyelids lighter or darker than my skintone. It also keeps the eyeshadow put in place It might not work with all foundations though, I use Clinique Almost Makeup foundation (the one with spf 15) it's amazing!
Go to your local Small Engine Repair shop and ask for a gas cap with the primer pump on cap. They work great!
Floor drains that do not have water flow through them will go dry and sewer gas will leak out of them because the trap makes a seal and stops air from flowing out of the floor drain. Most commercial properties have drip primers that allow water to drip into a floor drain and keep the trap sealed but because water is dirty and since the drip primer has to have such a tiny hole, over… Read More
Oil based primer is the best bridge between oil and latex paints. If oil based paints are not available in your area, a high adhesion acrylic primer over a well prepared surface will also work.
Yes, that will work.
A Fusion Summon, or the Summoning of any Monster (Synchro or Fusion) from the Fusion Deck (Extra Deck) is a special summon and so Trap Hole will not work on it.
A primer (oligonucleotide of a specific sequence) is required for Taq polymerase to extend the template strand by adding complementary nucleotides. The function of the primer is to anneal to the template strand at a very specific site and facilitate the initiation of strand elongation mediated by Taq ploymerase.
Monica Hughes' book Space Trap is a work of young adult science fiction.
use a really good latex enamel undercoater primer and a really good paint of your choice. lowes has a valspar undercoater primer for bare wood that should work out great.
Handguns work by having some mechanism hit a sensitive primer to initiate a control deflagration and shoot a bullet. If a handgun doesn't have an external hammer that either strikes a firing pin or the primer directly, it will have an internal hammer--called a striker.
It will work over another latex paint, however it won't be as scrubable as a normal top coat, and it won't adhere as well as a paint over a primer. Better to apply the primer, then the paint. If the surface is clean and deglossed though, you really don't need a primer and can coat the surface with a quality wall paint.
If you use a good primer first it will work fine.
It is best to use an exterior primer outside, rather than an interior. While, the interior paint will work, it does not have the same protection such as UV protection, and fungicide protection that is found in exterior paints.
I find your meaning a bit difficult to understand. -You don't paint and prime together. -The primer must be applied first and become totally dry before painting is carried out. If you're concerned about covering ability, use a good thick primer like Kilz. It will completely hide anything. If the masonite is pre-primed, then a paint and primer in one will work fine. If it is bare, then you need to treat it like wood… Read More

A bright yellow primer if designed to enhance your top coat and give colours with yellow in them more depth or an inner light. You could use any shade of yellow over it and get great results. If you are looking for a bright green the yellow primer will lend a "sunny" look to it. Oranges, rusts and even brown over yellow primer all look good.
It's not hard to use; oil flows out better and gives you more work time than an acrylic primer. It does however, require mineral spirits for cleanup and take longer to dry.
Trap shotguns are only used for trap shooting and should only be bought if you are really into trap shooting (or have too much money =] ). Field guns can be used for both field and trap applications. However, field and trap guns aim differently. Trap guns are easier to use for trap, and I'm not sure on the other way around. My advice is to by a field gun to use for both uses… Read More

How do you cover bright pink bright orange bright blue and bright green paint with chocolate brown paint?
I would probably put a primer coat on first. A good primer is Kilz, which will also cover stains. It is worth the money to buy a good brand of primer since it will save you work and make your new paint look its best.
No because a primer is just a sheer or lightly coloured base that you apply to the lid to get the fullest colour out of your eyeshadows. Because liner is usually quite dark, it is only supposed to be used for your lashline to enhance the look and size of your eye. If you don't have an actual eyeshadow primer, light concealers are almost the same and work just as well.
Its good practice to fit a "U" trap under a sink unit or a "bottle trap". The latter is quick to install but can take up more room that a small "U" trap. However, a "bottle trap" is more accessible if there are clogs as the base unscrews quicky without effecting the pipe work.
paint it with a universal primer such as "BLOCKER" brand first Yes, you can. My preference is to use oil base primer under latex (water base) paint, because in my experience the oil base primer lasts longer. It stays stuck to the wood longer. I think latex primer is basically bogus. I have wasted a lot of time using latex primer and it comes loose and I have to sand it all off and use… Read More
No. Do not prime any wood if you are going to stain it. Stains penetrate wood fibers, while primer and paint remain on the surface of the wood. If you put a primer on first, it will cover the grain and the stain won't work.
Both would work, however a standard 209 should be plenty, and a magnum primer runs the risk of blow-back that could damage you and or the gun.
