Acid rain is formed when air is polluted with chemicals such as sulfur dioxide, nitrogen dioxide and carbon dioxide. When the pollutants in the air are mixed with the water vapor in the clouds; the acid rain falls to Earth. Now the acid rain has the the burning feeling similar to vinegar.
Acid rain over a short period of time will not do much damage to humans or the natural environment, but over time the acid could harm the humus (topsoil) and damage the forests' nutrients and mineral supply in the ground. It can also lead to water poisoning. Which can affect both plants and animals.
The main polluters are industries especially coal fired power stations as these pump out sulfur dioxide as a waste product.
When sulfur dioxide from factories and nitrogen oxides form water vapor in the air to form acidic droplets of water vapor. When these droplets fall from the sky, the moisture leeches calcium, potassium, and other nutrients from the soil, this loss of nutrients can lead to death of trees.
Trees are most affected by acid rain because when acids touch any living or things that are outside that can be touched by the acid rain can be melted in to a puddle for exam if it were a lake or the ocean it would turn the water to different colors. This is why acid rain is not safe.
excess of acid rain damage the leaves of trees, there by obstructing photosynthesis.
elevated levels of hydrogen ions.
no because pee is acid and acid kills plants
Stomach acid kills bacteria, which is hydrochloric acid.
Citric acid does not affect plant growth in plants unless it is applied in large quantities. Citric acid will, however, burn through seeds and halt the germination process.
oxalic acid
A base contain the anion (OH)- and an acid contain the cation H+.
nitric and sulfuric acids
Citric acid.

Acid rain causes erosion on buildings, making them weaker. It makes them demolished easier. The acid rain pollutes the rivers which harms fishes, the acid affects the fishes. The acid rain also harms plants, it destroys their photosynthesis.Acid rain is when the acid are let out of factory. The gas rises up into the clouds which when the clouds rain, it kills the animals. It makes the water nasty from the acid which harms fish. One of the way to fix that problem is to add alkaline to the water.by Matthew Hagens っ◔◡◔)っ ♥ YOLO SWAG
It erodes buildings and kills plants
it kills crops and plants that effect human eating
Sulphur dioxide reacts with water and forming sulphuric acid that harms the plants and agriculture.
Lysosomes are cellular organelles that contain acid hydrolase enzymes that break down waste materials
Forest fires, cutting down trees.
it kills all the phototsinthisis in the opant so it can do a lot of harm to it

Acid rain damages staues and buildings, contaminates water and kills nutrients in the soil, which kills plants. The effect that acid rain has is that all the acid in the rain is formed from chemicals that are evaporated from the ground from materials that have been thrown on the ground
