Yes, if she has an Israeli Passport, if she has an expired US visa or something else doesn't really affects to her marriage process and also Israeli citizens don't need visa to Canada even if she travels from USA.

By Personal experience... I got married to my Husband who was illegal here with an EXPIRED passport of his country and we still got the marriage License. All you really need is a form of id and the passport. You should be fine.hope that helped! Because even with an expired passport, we got a marriage license, but he had his id. :)

The illegal immigrat has to bring his/her passport. For more information please go to http://www.health.state.ny.us/vital_records/married.htm

it would depend on if your a U.K. citizen. You could also get a passport for the U.K., if your married to a U.K. citizen, and have lived there for more than 2 years

She is eligibe to get married. It just depends on what state you are in and their requirements. I married my illegal Mexican husband in 2001 in Tennessee. All we had were my I.D, his translated and original birth certificate, and the $60 to pay the courthouse.

Have the U.S. Citizen consult an immigration attorney in the U.S

User Avatar

Either apply for another, change your situation (get married to a U.S. citizen, student visa etc.) or leave. Anything else (including marriage only for the purpose of residency) is illegal.

User Avatar

Being married would not change the fact she is an illegal alien. She could still be sent back to her country of origin.

Most foreigners can obtain a Mexican passport if they move to Mexico with an immigrant visa and live there for four years (2 years if married to a Mexican citizen). Then one can apply for Mexican citizenship and passport.

She can obtain a British passport by becoming a British citizen, or she can just hold on to her Candian passport.

User Avatar

No, that would be bigamy, and it's illegal (as in you can go to jail for it).

If an undocumented (illegal) immigrant is married to a U.S. citizen, then they are a U.S. citizen. So their divorce from another U.S. citizen won't affect the status of their child at all.

User Avatar

I believe that you're guaranteed a citizenship when you marry a citizen, but being an illegal complicates the matter.

User Avatar

You can if you become a U.S citizen, but all you have to do is go to the couthouse of the town that you want to be married in and ask for the papers In CA you can get married even you are non-citizen as long as you have proper identification such as passport.
