Organisms can be helped by camouflage to hide them and blends them into their natural surroundings, this helps them as predators of that particular organism, cant see them so its harder to hunt them down and eat them :)
If they animal is a carnivore, camouflage helps it stay undetected by its prey, however, if it is a prey, camouflaging helps the animal to stay undetected by the predator.
Animals need camouflage in order to hide from their predators. For example: Hen Pheasants are brown so when they are nesting in the tall brown grass they are harder for hunters and predators to see.
It can hide them from their enemies (that is the ones higher on the food chain).
The most important reason why animals camouflage is to hide from a predator.
IT helps animals hide from their predators. A caterpillar is green to blend in with the leaves surrounding it and stick insects look like sticks. Tigers have stripes to blend in with the tall grasses in their habitat. For the prey, camouflage is a way to hide from the predator, and for the predator, camouflage helps them hide from their prey before they attack. A strange example of using camouflage are zebras. They use it to camouflage with each other. The predator cannot single out one zebra and usually gives up on trying to pounce on on. So as you can see, mimicry and camouflage help animals survive in many different ways. Hope this helps!
I copied this from someone in the web
They are camouflaged to make it harder to be spotted by their prey!
Additionally it makes it harder to be caught by another predator and so they blend in with their territory.
An organism that can camouflage itself is less likely to be eaten by predators, and thus have more offspring/pass on its DNA.
So the prey can hide from predators and the predators can sneak up on the prey unnoticed.
it allows that organism to hide from it's prey and it also makes it easier for them to hunt their prey since they will never see them coming so it's kind of like a surprise attack.
when they camouflage, their predators will not notice them, so they will not eat them.
It helps the predator to hide so it can catch it's prey and it helps prey to hide from a predator so it isn't caught.

camouflage is when animals blend in with their enviorment to hide from their predator or to catch their prey
A prey is what a predator hunts down to kill and eat. A prey's predator is what eats it. For example: A gazelle is the prey of a leopard (predator).
The scent made by the prey would trick the predator into thinking that the prey isn't there, so if the prey "isn't there" the predator can't attack it. :)
What is the answer of this question is shrew a predator or a prey
A tiger can run, camouflage in the grass and catch prey.
They camouflage so the predator doesn't see them
camouflage
Cheetas don't have cammo. They have spots.
camouflage is when animals blend in with their enviorment to hide from their predator or to catch their prey
It would need camouflage
Predators benefit from predation because they get to EAT the animal!! Doesn't everyone enjoy eating? The prey benefit from predation because predators normally eat the weaker and unhealthier members of the prey population. Therefore, the stronger members of the prey population gets left to reproduce and pass on their traits to their offspring."Offspring" is another word for "babies."
Prey : A disguise from predators . Blending into one's environment .Predator : A predator disguises itself to catch its' prey; thus blending into one's environment .
Camouflage. Having a coat that matches the dominant colour of the landscape makes it easy for a predator to stalk/hunt and kill prey.
The stripes help the tiger camouflage from its prey so that it can sneak up on it more easily. Since the tiger is an apex predator it really doesn't need camouflage for protection from any threats.
Camouflage helps a polar bear become a better predator because the prey doesn't see it coming.Although you should note that camouflage used mostly for defensive purposes. The prey cannot see the Polar bear approaching, it gives them the element of surprise, If the bears were black or brown like their counterparts, animals that they hunt would spot them a mile off
Predator and prey evolve together. The prey is part of the predator's environment, and the predator dies if it does not get food, so it evolves whatever is necessary in order to eat the prey: speed, stealth, camouflage (to hide while approaching the prey), a good sense of smell, sight, or hearing (to find the prey), immunity to the prey's poison, poison (to kill the prey) the right kind of mouth parts or digestive system, etc. Likewise, the predator is part of the prey's environment, and the prey dies if it is eaten by the predator, so it evolves whatever is necessary to avoid being eaten: speed, camouflage (to hide from the predator), a good sense of smell, sight, or hearing (to detect the predator), thorns, poison (to spray when approached or bitten), etc
mimic is helpfull in mantaining the presence unknown. This would help a predator get close to the prey or the prey away from the predator.
