It shouldn't affect the license at all, but it's going to make it hard to get accounts with suppliers. Rough time to be a contractor in FL. My condolences.
A BK should have no bearing on the law license unless a creditor proves debtor committed fraud, then the state bar may investigate.
if you are asking this queston, you should noy have a license That is a very stupid response. Many general contractors - especially in Florida have had to declare personal bankruptcy due to economic conditions beyond their control. If you file personally it cannot legally affect the renewal or continued current status of your license. Hope this helps.
Does corporate bankruptcy affect personal credit?
Not at all.
If your business is tied to your personal credit, then yes, you run the risk of being personally affected by the business's bankruptcy.
You should definitely discuss bankruptcy with an experienced attorney. It will affect your partner only if you have joint debts that wll have to be listed in the bankruptcy. S/he will have to pay the debt.
I think yes..there is no relationship between filing bankruptcy and apply for citizenship.filing bankruptcy is a personal issue its not a any crime or what.its true that it will be remain in your name for some years but it does not affect on your citizenship.

Bankruptcy would not affect your license to sell insurance in any way. It does not affect your ability to continue to make money.
Personal credit is separate from business credit. However, some legal structures capture personal bankruptcy history in the D&B report which may have an impact on D&B scores and ratings.
