yes it does affect you. but it also can spread to different organs within your body.
the lung cancer that spreads to your brain can cause seizures, reduced vision and etc.
And 395 canadians will pass away almost every week.
465 canadians will be diagnosed with lung cancer every week.
When a person develops this disease, a tumor grows inside the lung and then presses against the chest. The tumor can block the chest cavity and may also surround the heart with a fluid.
The spreading of the disease to the bones will cause a lot of pain and can make the affected bones break easily.
Lung cancer that spreads to the brain can cause several disorders including seizures, reduced vision and etc.

Not necessarily true at all! It's not so much the lung cancer, but the effects on the body from chemo and radiation. And if caught early and treated aggressively, it may rarely kill you!
