Action Replay on a Nintendo DS can be used to cheat on certain older games with default codes. For newer games one would have to look up the codes and manually input them into the Action Replay device.
I don't think Nintendo supports the use of Action Replay. CodeJunkies supports Action Replay. Being the company that created the device.
You will need Action Replay DSi - the regular Action Replay device will not work.
It's because Nintendo designed it to not be able to cheat on. you can use your action replay on a dsi it doesnt need to be a action replay DSi to work

You have to do a Nintendo event (they are on at certain countries) or use an action replay. You can buy an action replay for £15 at Argos. :)
an action replay is something that you insert the game in and insert the action replay into the ds. it gives you a list of cheats that you can use on various games. The Action Replay is a device you can insert into your Nintendo DS and use to obtain many hacks in a selection of games.
The Action Replay is for the Nintendo DS and the Nintendo DS Lite, while the Action Replay Max (or, sometimes called the Action Replay DSi) is for the DSi only. The normal Action Replay will not work in the DSi, and vice versa. I hope I helped! ('u')
