∙ 14y agoMarine Biology has to do with all the life in the ocean, from the smallest microscopic micro plankton, to the largest animal on earth, the blue whale. While Marine Geology has to do with all the rocks and minerals in the ocean.

The difference from marine biology and marine zoology is that marine biology is the study of animal and invertebrates instincts, anatomy, or lifestyle. While marine zoology is ultimately all about animals in general.

oceanography is the study of all oceans, like how oceans work, how oceans are formed, oceans ecosystems, and how volcanic heat balances the oceans natural temperature. As for marine biology, it is the study of marine animals and marine invertebrates and how they live, how their instincts work, their anatomy, their DNA, and etc.
