Marine Biology has to do with all the life in the ocean, from the smallest microscopic micro plankton, to the largest animal on earth, the blue whale. While Marine Geology has to do with all the rocks and minerals in the ocean.
Biology is the study of living organisms.
Marine biology is the study of living organisms that live in sea water and how they interact with their aquatic environment.
Bottom line: Marine biology is just biology in the sea-water.
The difference from marine biology and marine zoology is that marine biology is the study of animal and invertebrates instincts, anatomy, or lifestyle. While marine zoology is ultimately all about animals in general.
oceanography is the study of all oceans, like how oceans work, how oceans are formed, oceans ecosystems, and how volcanic heat balances the oceans natural temperature. As for marine biology, it is the study of marine animals and marine invertebrates and how they live, how their instincts work, their anatomy, their DNA, and etc.
hope i answered your question!
Biology is the study of all life. Marine Science is the study of marine life, the marine ecosystem, and the theory-set that describes how it works (as we understand it).
marine biology is related to biology of seas, oceans, marine life
while the aquatic biology is usually related to fresh water life
Marine science studies the animals in the ocean and oceanography maps the ocean floor
Life sciences study the whole field of living organisms; marine biology is a specialism within the field of life sciences that studies the group of living organisms that lives in salt water.
Marine Biology is branch of Biology that is branch of Science .
Oceans, sea , rivers and other water bodies are the ecosystems that are referred to as aquatic. The ecosystems that are aquatic are freshwater and saltwater(marine).
You need a degree in Marine Biology
its the marine biome
Marine biology would be in the agriculture/natural resources career cluster, or possibly under the biology/science career cluster.
I am in the exact same position. i would love to be a marine biologist but have no clue whatsoever, you will need biology (and marine biology if offered) and also, i would be best to have chemistry at your side to back you up, Then you will have to get at least 5 a stars ( no you don't its GCSEs you need no A*stars) further up, you will need a PhD( you dont need a PhD you need a degree) in either biology or marine biology (in marine biology or oceanography), again, whatever if offered to you. good luck! (thank god my answers are there or you woud be stuffed)
Marine Biology - a person that studies in this feild is a Marine Biologist
Marine Biology
Marine biology and include (phycology, invertebate zoology, ichthylogy)
Marine biologyy research is when you research about something that is aquatic including fresh water species.
When you are talking about something related to the sea eg marine mammals "Here is the marine forecast......." Today we studied marine vegetation/marine Biology
Marine biology is the scientific study of organisms in the ocean or other marine bodies of water. Given that in biology many phyla, families and genera have some species that live in the sea and others that live on land, marine biology classifies species based on the environment rather than on taxonomy.
You might be thinking of marine zoology, which is a branch of marine biology. It (marine zoology) deals with the "critters" or creatures or animals in the marine environment. Certainly at the very "end" of the scale of marine creatures are living things that might be either animal or plant in nature. We usually see the more general term marine biologist in use to define someone who works in this area, and then a specialty under that umbrella.
When you are talking about something related to the sea eg marine mammals "Here is the marine forecast......." Today we studied marine vegetation/marine Biology
The ocean is not aquatic, it is marine. Aquatic is freshwater. Marine is saltwater.
Major in Marine Biology, then specialize in aquatic animals in vet school.

Marine biology is the scientific study of the biology of marine life, organisms in the sea.
