Smoking is bad for everyone. However a footballer is a person that needs to be in peak condition. The tars and another chemicals that are left behind in lungs of a person will have the effect of making less oxygen available to the body especially during periods of heavy exercise. Aside from this making the person less capable of speed strength and will also cause more damage to be done to overworked muscles like the heart.

∙ 13y agoTake It from a footballer but alcohol kills cells and can make playing hard cuz it slows muscle growth to a certain degree if u work out or weigh lift. Plus it makes Ur speed and agility slow down and if heart rate can slow down and screw with Ur body and can result in colapsing
