There are several ways of making magnets that I know of .

1 take a piece of bar face it North South and give it a hard bash with a hammer on the end, this will create a weak magnet.

Or you could wrap a coil of insulated wire around a iron rod and run a dc current through it while the current is on the metal will be magnetic.

there are probably other ways as well

There is a digger like veichle, but instead of a digger it is a humongous magnet on it. The person inside controls the magnet to pick up all the steel and the magnet is so strong that it magnetises it. Hope this helped!

A refrigerator does not become magnetized. Because refrigerators are made of metal, magnets will stick to them.

Iron can become a magnet when combined with the elements boron and neodymium, or when a copper wire is wrapped around the iron and electricity is run through that wire.
