In which phase do chromosomes align on the spindle equator?

Chromosomes align on the spindle equator during the metaphase. During the metaphase the chromosomes meet on an imaginary line between the two poles.

Which phase of mitosis is where the chromosomes are located at the equator of the cell?

Metaphase is the third phase of mitosis, when the chromosomes line up at the equator of the cell.

How many chromosomes are at the metaphase II equator?

There are two chromosome that are at the metaphase II equator. Chromosomes are already duplicated and are homologous pairs in Metaphase II.

Which step of mitosis are the chromosomes lined up in the center of the cell?

Metaphase is the stage where the chromosomes are align in the center of the cell.

What is aligned along the equator of the cell in metaphase?

Chromosomes are aligned along with the equator of the cell in metaphase.

Which event occurs during metaphase?

chromosomes migrate to equator of the spindle apparatus

Random alignment of chromosomes contribute to genetic variation?

Random alignment of chromosomes occurs during Metaphase I in a cells meiosis. Random alignment is when the homologous pairs of chromosomes line up at the equator or middle of the cell, and are arranged by which member faces what pole. This allows equal opportunity for the chromosomes to migrate to a different cell.

Where do the chromosomes line up along the cell?

chromosomes line up at the spindle equator during metaphase! chromosomes line up at the spindle equator during metaphase!

What is a sentence with metaphase in it?

At the stage of metaphase, chromosomes line up along the equator of the cell. Homologous chromosomes pair up.

Which phase is known as the organization phase in mitosis?

Metaphase!

During what phase of meiosis do replicated homologous chromosomes line up next to each other at the cell's equator-?

It is during the anaphase of meiosis that the replicated homologous chromosomes line up next to each other at the cell's equator.

Describes what happens during metaphase?

Chromosomes align along equator, or metaphase pate of cell.
