The nervous system sends impulses starting from the brain down the spinal cord (the central nervous sytem) and then out to the perhipreal nervous system which goes thoughout the whole body. These impulses go to every other body system and tell them how and when to work.

It is much more complicated than that but I'm only 8th grade and i had to make a poster for it in 3 days so i didnt learn a whole lot about it

The nervous system tells your muscles to contract through electrical signals and then the muscles lift your bones.

Consider the following example:

You are Walking on a floor bare footed and suddenly you step unconsiously on a nail.

The sensory neurons in your foot detect a foreign body piericing the skin as soon as they detect the change they conduct a message to CNS(centeral nervous system) in form of electric impulse. The associated neurons present there check the nature of message and then send an order to musles of your leg via motor neuron as soon as the message reaches the muscle it withdraws the motion and eventually you are saved from a deep injury the only difference is that this process occurs with jet speed and insures the survival of indiviual.

nerves are under (probally not the best word choice) the skin to interact with the brain. when you walk or move your finger, your nerves are telling your brain how much muscle to use, how fast, and when to start/stop(they do a lot more!). your nerves also detect pain, so if your hand is on a stove that is hot, you can pull your hand away.

the nervous system is like a control/messaging room. the nerves just aid in sending that message in a neural transmission (electrochemical signal) to (for example move the muscles).

i'm15 by the way, so my spelling may be off... sorry bout that.

The muscle system works on energy. It takes energy from your food and drink and make it into sugar so you can have energy. If you don't eat much you won't have as much energy.

the muscular system helps the nervous system by protecting the nerves. And the nervous system returns the favor by sending messages to the muscles for muscle movement.

nervous system, skeleton system, muscular system, and your digestive system you basically use all of them because your brain need to control it all

What body system is the arm in?

The arm is not part of a single system; to construct an arm you need lots of systems, which includes the muscular, skeletal, circulatory, nervous, and integumentary systems.

Which body system is to help a person move?

All organ systems work together. First of all you need energy, digestive system does that. Then the circulatory system takes the food and takes it to the body. And for cellular respiration you need oxygen, so respiratory does that. And nervous is for telling and thinking what to do. And the main ones are skeletal and muscular systems. Muscular move bones which are from the skeletal system.

How does respiratory system and muscular system work together?

The muscular system provides additional movement to create a relative vacuum in the lungs, which draws air into the air sacs. The respiratory system provides oxygen that muscles need to create movement.

i guess not.

Why do need muscular system?

To move and to drive.

Why is muscular system essential to the function of the body?

The muscular system is need because it supports the body and allows for movement

Does the digestive system interact the muscular system?

The muscular system is the mechanical force behind the digestive system. Beginning when you take a bite, your muscular system aids your digestive system. Chewing and swallowing are done by the muscular system; muscles surrounding your stomach churn up food to aid digestion; muscles transport digested food through your intestines and eventually out of your body. (The muscles for chewing and swallowing are voluntary muscles; the rest are involuntary.)

Crayfish have muscles. They need them to move.
