Only by virtue of the change in density of water. As water expands with temperature rising its density falls slightly so the height of water for a given pressure will increase slightly.
They were smaller and came out of cigarette packs as far back as late 1890's, i think they measured about 11/2 inchs by about 21/2 inchs, color was not that great
pipe is measured up 12 inchs I.D. inside 12 and above are measured by O.D.if you measure 10" pipe you measure it from inside..12" and above measure from outside diametor
