The vagus never innervates the heart and affects the SA node. Otto Loewi discovered that the vagus nerve through the action of Ach (a neurotransmitter) slowed the heart. So the vagus nerve can slow the action (or beating) of the heart.
Answer : Since the vagus nerve is parasympathetic is action. When the nerve is stimulated, the following actions occur at the myocardium:
1. The heart rate and the force of heart contraction slows down.
2. It leads to conronary vasoconstriction.
3. It decreases myocardial metabolism and,
4. Induces a fall in the blood pressure falls.
After recovery from the procedure, the heart rate would permanently increase.
Resting heart rate is faster
it decreases the heart rate
the heart rate would increase almost immediately by about 25 beats per min, reflecting the inherent rate (100 beats per min) of the pacemaking SA node
Who cut whose heart?
Nerves.
When sensory nerves are cut or removed in the stomach, changes in eating habits will occur. Hunger itself will still exist though.
cut peoples hearts out with a bit of blood

You do not feel pain when you cut your nails because your nails do not contain any nerves that can cause pain.
The answer is an Incision!
It can break bones, cut muscles, tendons, nerves, arteries and veins.
It will cut your risk of a heart attack into half.
The major blood vessels coming into the heart are the superior and inferior vena cava. The aorta leaves the heart. These would have to be cut.
