∙ 12y agoPlant roots also need airation. The root can get water logged and rot. Only water a plant when the soil no longer sticks to your fingers after pressing on it.

Too much rain. When plants are stressed from over-watering, the symptoms are the same as under-watering. In the case of too much water, several things are happening.
