There are two methods, one is by syncing the speed of the motor.

The second method is to convert all energy to DC from the tower then run that power through an inverter.

The third alternative is to bypass the grid altogether, which seriously increases the usefulness of the system. Smaller wind systems that feed single homes or businesses are the most efficient use of wind turbines. Bypassing the grid altogether eliminates the worlds largest single consumer of power, the grid itself.

All electricity is the same, whether it comes from coal-fired power stations or wind farms. It runs along wires till it reaches your house.

Are Wind farms used to transform the kinetic energy of the wind into electrical energy?

Wind turbines (in a wind farm) convert kinetic energy of the wind into electrical energy. Not to be confused with wind mills - that turn the kinetic energy of the wind into mechanical energy.

How formed electrical energy?

Electrical energy can be formed by solar, wind or hydro energy. This energy is transformed into electrical energy.

Which type of energy is converted into electrical energy by a wind turbine?

Kinetic energy of wind

What powers a wind turbine?

The wind turbine converts kinetic energy into wind, which then turns into wind and then mechanical energy. The energy is converted to an electrical generator through a shaft which turns it into electrical energy, or in other words, electricity.

What energy is generated by a wind mill?

electrical energy

A wind turbine changes what kind of energy into electrical energy?

kinetic (the energy in the moving air)

Is a windmill electrical to thermal or electrical to mechanical or chemical to thermal?

Assuming that you're talking about a wind-powered electrical generator (such as a "wind farm"), the energy conversion is from mechanical to electrical. When the wind blows on the blades of the mill it rotates them, creating mechanical energy. This mechanical energy is used to power the electrical generator inside the mill, creating electrical energy out of mechanical energy.

Is wind energy created by wind tubines?

Energy cannot be created or destroyed. Wind turbines do not create energy. They take energy from the wind and convert it into electrical energy.

What is the importance of wind energy?

The importance of Wind Energy is that it cuts down on Electrical Energy, which pollutes the Earth

How is wind energy harnessed?

We use windmills to make the wind energy turn them to form electrical energy.

How is energy transformed into electrical energy?

it can transformed by fuels

What type of energy is transferred by a wind turbine?
