Most definitely when you consider the size that the foetus would be at that stage of development, in fact I would think that you would have had some serious complications before it got to that stage in the pregnancy. I was 10 weeks and they said I was lucky the tube had not ruptured already.
If you suspect from the symptoms you are experiencing that you are suffering an ectopic pregnancy I would contact your dr immediately.

∙ 11y agoSame as when an u/s would be able to see anything. 5 weeks at the earliest. So you'd have to get blood work to check the hcg and see if it doubles the way it should.

It wont show on an upper abdominal ultrasound. Most times you have to have an internal ultrasound to determine early pregnancy.
