What you are aiming at is having a motor drive a generator. Nearly everyone thinks about this early in their study, and it occupies as lot of nutty inventors. It is also one of the only things that the patent office asks for a working model. Occasionally somebody has an AC motor and generator and meters to show that it is generating more power than it consumes. In all cases they are measuring the power incorrectly. All such schemes are impossible because no motor or generator is over 100% efficient. And that's that.

You can use an electric motor to turn an electrical generator, but the power output will be less than the power needed to generate the speed and power of the motor. If this were not the case you would have perpetual motion.

Lightning is electricity, but it is much too violent and uncontrollable to be used

Preliminary research is being conducted by Todd Livingstone that uses lasers to trigger lightning strikes into a device that would capture part of the energy of the lightning strike for the generation of electricity.

For more info, do a web search on the research of Todd Livingstone.

Harvesting the power of lightning has proved to be very difficult, and no one has successfully found a way. A lightning strike happens very quickly, so extremely high electrical power is involved. It is difficult to convert high voltage power to the lower-voltage electricity that can be stored. Theoretically, yes, the energy from a lightning bolt be caught and stored. Practically, no, you would never be able to build a big enough capacitor to hold the charge. There is just too much energy in a lightning bolt to harness with today's technology. although there are those that believe this fulminology machine actually exists and at this moment in time is being withheld due the enormity of its consequences?

Absolutely not. Wind produces only a very small portion of the total energy needs and varies way too much to be of any real value. The overall output of wind systems is way too small to be of any actual value. Typical wind systems provide about 8% of the claimed rated output. This is only when operating. Solar is not quite as good in terms of real numbers.

Hydroelectric is certainly a viable option that is in use and provides real power. This could supply some actual power.

Real power as of today can come from coal, oil, nuclear, and Hydro. All others are still pretty much toys and use to make people feel good about being green.

yes it can yes, you burn it to release the energy as termal energy and this can be turned into electrical energy, most likely through the use of air/steam turning turbines

Yes, the burning of anything can be used to spin turbines that will generate electricity. Fossil fuels are especially powerful.

What is the source of energy of Solar?

The sun. Or if you mean more specifically, in some cases the heat radiation from the sun is used to superheat something (water, salt) and that is used to create electricity.

How do you create electricity from the sun?

You use the solar panel.

What is the process that energy from the sun is converted to energy?

photosynthesis in plants converted to electricity in photovoltaic cells. radiant when the sun's heat is used to heat something that is then used to create electricity, like solar colllectors. Arguably its the sun's heating that creates wind which is then harvested by wind turbines.

What are wind turines used to create?

A wind farm is a farm that can be used to create electricity.

Is wind used to produce heat?

Wind can be used to create electricity which in turn can be used to create heat.

How is the sun's energy used as electricity?

As solar power.

Do solar cells help generate electricity?

Yes, they can be found in solar panels which obsord the sun for energy which can create both electricity and heat.

What can the Sun be used to power?

Anything that takes electricity, essentially. The Sun's power can be harnessed using photovoltaic cells, which then make the energy into electricity.

What kind of energy is transformed to create electricity?

Solar energy can be transformed into electricity with the use of solar panels. Energy from the Sun is called solar energy,
