Douglas Fir trees can be found in a variety of locations. They are naturally found in the northwestern part of the United States, but can be found as far South as Arizona.
The fact that they consistently sort independently indicates that they are far apart on the chromosome.
As far as I have researched and have been told by an arborist (as I have one in my backyard), the root system is as deep as about half the height of the tree. The Rubber Tree is also considered to have an extremely invasive root system. It is not recommended that it be grown near buildings or walkways.
Prunus padus can be used as a hedge or a small specimen tree 30 to 40 feet high.Itdepends why you want to plant it.
You should plant it 15 inches apart.
