Fiji is a country of its own. 320+ islands make up the Republic of the Fiji Islands. Fiji has its own currency $FJD. $1.00=100cents. Fiji also have its own Government, legislation, jurisdiction and law. Fiji gained Independence from Britain in 10th October 1970.
