Chickens see in the infra red range and therefore see very well under good light conditions. They do not see well in the dark which is why they go to roost in the early evening. The color receptor organization in a chicken's retina far exceeds that which is seen in most other animal retinas including most mammals.

I'm not sure where you heard that, but chickens can most certainly see daylight. Also, unlike dogs, chickens can see a wide variety of colors. However, most chickens have quite bad night-vision.

That's not true. Chickens can fly, if you don't believe than go watch a YouTube video but if you still don't believe it than go see real chickens( but in reallife). You should check their wings and see them fly, once you see it you will understand that chickens can fly.
